HorsePower Heaven - This Saturday, June 26th 2010!
Don't forget that HorsePower Heaven is on at the South West Kart Club, Cobden, this Saturday.
Coben is approx an hour from Geelong, past Colac.
The track and facilities are excellent and it should be a fantastic event.

Club Day - This Sunday, June 27th 2010
Racing is on again this coming weekend, with the track being run in the regular, anti-clockwise, direction.

Club Transponders for sale.
With transponders soon becoming compulsory for all karters to have their own transponders, the club has some of its own transponders for sale.
These have been used by the club for club day and open meeting competition. Transponders are used but come with a new charger.
Club members who showed interest in the transponders for sale at the May club day will be given first priority with any remaining transponders being available on a first-come, first served basis at the June club day.

The track is running in the anti-clockwise direction again.
Following a successful May club day, we're back to running the track in the anti-clockwise direction again.
The June Club day will also be run in the 'normal' direction.

Club Day - This Sunday, May 30th 2010
Racing as per normal on the last sunday of the month, this weekend... but...
We're going backwards!!!!
This month, racing will be in the opposite direction which will be a nice change for some people, a nightmare for others and something entirely different for everyone.
It'll certainly be a very interesting club day.
The feature class on the day will be decided by the number of entries per class.

Track Closure - Sunday 5th of June
All members please take note that the track will be unavailable on the above date between the hours of 9 am and 4pm.
After 4pm members can use the track as per normal.
The track has been hired out and the valuable income will be used to continually improve the facilities for all members.
The track is now operating in the reverse direction
Immediately following the sucessful running of round 2 of the Allstar series the Geelong Kart Track in now operation in an clockwise direction.
That means on leaving the outgrid you will turn left(!) NOT right.
New Gravel traps have been installed in appropriate places and all is in readyness for the May Club day which will be run in the new direction.
It is going to be very interesting to hear drivers impressions of the new direction and no doubt the new challenge this change gives drivers.

Track Closure - This Saturday 17th of April, between 8am and 4pm
The circuit will be available after 4pm on this day for those persons wishing to use the track on Saturday. The track will be open as per normal on Sunday.
The feature class for this coming club day will be Rotax Pro 125.
