Track closed due to storm damage.
The track is closed until saturday evening due to storm damage.
Club members are encouraged to come along to saturday's working bee to help get things back together.

Track Closed/Working Bee - This Saturday, September 11th 2010
PLEASE NOTE -
The track will be closed this coming saturday!
The track will be closed this coming saturday to tidy up some of the overhead wiring which was brought down in the wild weather we've had during the last few days.
We'll also be making up some tyre bundles and doing some general maintenance.
Club members are encouraged to come along and help out.

Club Day - This Sunday, August 29th 2010
PLEASE NOTE -
On this weekends Club day, Formula 100 and shifter kart classes will be racing in the regular anti-clockwise direction, whilst all other classes will be racing in the clockwise direction.

August Club Day
This weekend is the August Club day. Remember, racing this weekend will be in the clockwise direction.

The track is now operating in the reverse direction
Racing on the August club day will be run in the clockwise direction.
As a result, the track is now running in the clockwise direction until further notice.
This means that on leaving the outgrid you will turn left(!) NOT right.

New track gate access cards
The automatic gate to the track is now operational. Anyone who has a gate key for the track can have this replaced with a gate access card.
The gate access cards will help monitor who is coming and going from the track and what times this is happening. It's much safer for the track and goes some way to ensuring that the tracks facilities and resources are looked after.
If you dont yet have one, you can pick one up when you hand in entry forms at the next club day.
If you're not exchanging an existing key for an access card, a new card is $30.00
Transponders
Any remaining transponders and chargers will be available at the next club day. They'll be available on a first come, first served basis, so be quick.
HorsePower Heaven - Saturday, July 24th 2010!
Don't forget that HorsePower Heaven is on at GKCV, Melbourne, this Saturday.
The track is truely spectacular and it should be a great event.

Working Bee this Saturday 10th July - Cancelled
Apologies for the late notice, however, tomorrow's working bee at the track has been cancelled and will be rescheduled to a later date.
The track is open for practise as normal.
July Club Day
The July club day will be run in the normal, anti-clockwise, direction.

Please note that the circuit will be unavailable on the above date so that we can begin replacing the tyre bundles around the track.
Help for working bees is more than welcomed, so show your support for your club and come along.

HorsePower Heaven - This Saturday, June 26th 2010!
Don't forget that HorsePower Heaven is on at the South West Kart Club, Cobden, this Saturday.
Coben is approx an hour from Geelong, past Colac.
The track and facilities are excellent and it should be a fantastic event.

Club Transponders for sale.
With transponders soon becoming compulsory for all karters to have their own transponders, the club has some of its own transponders for sale.
These have been used by the club for club day and open meeting competition. Transponders are used but come with a new charger.
Club members who showed interest in the transponders for sale at the May club day will be given first priority with any remaining transponders being available on a first-come, first served basis at the June club day.

The track is running in the anti-clockwise direction again.
Following a successful May club day, we're back to running the track in the anti-clockwise direction again.
The June Club day will also be run in the 'normal' direction.
