Each series class winner will also receive $1000 worth of tyres of their choice (from a list to be supplied by the organisers).
"That's about $70,000 worth of prizes to start with, and then there will also be further random prizes to be announced at a later date. It will be about $90,000 total" Albanese added.
The events will be two day, with the Saturday practice from 9 am to 1pm, then two heats, pre-final and final. The race format for round 1 is a 13 lap heat on Saturday afternoon, then another 13 lap heat on Sunday morning. This will be followed by a 16 lap pre-final and 20 lap final (final only counts).
